Renault brought its latest model lineup to Oxford Street with an immersive pop-up at Future Stores, one of the most ambitious experiential retail installations the high street has seen. Maison Renault gave visitors a chance to move through a space entirely defined by the brand’s world, with CGI content running floor to ceiling across every surface.
Frantic was commissioned by Avantgarde to produce all motion content for the LED installation. The brief: craft sequences for the Renault 4, Renault 5, Twingo, and the R5 Turbo 3E that could hold an audience in a live environment, across large-format screens from every angle.

The installation demanded content built to exact LED panel configurations. Before a single frame was produced, Frantic worked to map out pixel dimensions, aspect ratios, and playback constraints for the venue hardware.
Pre-vis sequences were developed for each vehicle and shared for client review prior to the event. This gave Renault the opportunity to shape the creative direction early, minimising revision cycles under the pressure of a fixed installation date.
Each vehicle identity was built and rendered with the LED environment in mind. The R5 Turbo 3E demanded a bolder, more kinetic treatment; the Renault 4, Renault 5 and Twingo called for something more composed. Three distinct visual identities, one coherent space.
Final assets were delivered ahead of the ingest deadline, formatted for the media server and tested against the installed hardware before the activation opened to the public.
