Overview

One film to explain a service with many moving parts.

Flex set out to launch as the “Uber of moving and storage,” a service covering everything from a single-room move to a full home relocation. The brief was a sixty-second CGI film that could carry the whole proposition, telling audiences what Flex does and how using it feels.

Launching a brand-new category is harder than launching a product people already understand. Before Flex could sell the service, the film had to make the idea instantly graspable, and make a process most people associate with stress feel fast, intuitive and easy instead.

The starting point was a blank page and a single question: how to communicate a wide range of service options inside one short, memorable video. Frantic built the answer around the shift from the slowness of an ordinary move to something that feels almost effortless.

Creative & Technical

Built around transformation.

Transformation became the device that solved the brief. The film moves through a series of moving scenarios, each one a vignette that demonstrates Flex’s versatility. A small apartment move, a larger home transition and a more unusual logistical challenge each play out as the visual world reshapes itself around them.

Every scene reinforces the same message: whatever the situation, the process becomes smoother and faster. The story builds to a dramatic final pullout, rising above the city and breaking through the clouds before settling on the Flex logo and tagline, a climax that doubles as a technical set piece in its own right.

The animation was built and animated in Cinema 4D, with X-Particles handling the liquid simulations, and everything rendered through Redshift.

Impact

A launch film that carries the whole proposition.

The result gives Flex a single, self-contained piece that introduces the brand and its full range of services in under a minute. For a service launching into a market where the category itself is new, that clarity matters as much as the polish.

It is built to do the heavy lifting across the channels where a new brand makes its first impression, from the website to paid social, carrying the proposition without a word of explanation needed alongside it.
