To create a high-end promo trailer for a leading London-based tech app, aimed at the luxury lifestyle market.
There are so many things that users of this app can do with it, that it’s hard to know where to start when making a video for them. But, undaunted, we set to work.
The app itself is all about having a conversation with an agent to find experiences. So, using the app’s conversational interface was a good starting point. As we see someone tapping into their phone, we see their conversation in the app screen, and then, through the magic of CGI, we take the viewer on an adventure through the types of experiences on offer. First up, we see a CG animated killer whale burst through the phone screen surrounded by water. This leads into footage and information about their swimming with Orca experience. Next up, we see a ski-mobile burst through the screen, with a flurry of snow, leading to info about their Iceland experience. This is followed by a car and then a helicopter, each experience more crazy than the last.
The trailer is fast-paced and exciting, and representative of the lifestyle that users of the app aspire to live. The video is complemented by an upbeat remixed classical music soundtrack and intercut with footage from actual customer experiences from across the globe.
