To devise and create a 60 second full CGI animation to launch the ‘Uber of moving and storage’, Flex.
Starting with a blank page and the question of how to communicate the wide-ranging service options of Flex in a single video, we set out to craft a concept that would be both visually memorable and instantly understandable. Our goal was to express not just what Flex does, but how it feels to use the service: the shift from the stress and slowness of moving to an experience that’s magically fast, intuitive, and remarkably easy.
To achieve this, we built the idea around transformation. Throughout the video, we showcase different moving scenarios, demonstrating Flex’s versatility and the range of services it offers. Whether it’s a small apartment move, a larger home transition, or a unique logistical challenge, the visual world adapts seamlessly. Each vignette reinforces the message that no matter the situation, Flex steps in to make the process smoother, faster, and surprisingly intuitive.
The story culminates in a dramatic final pullout shot: rising above the city, breaking through the clouds, and settling on the final logo and tagline.
Animation was built and animated in Cinema 4D, with X-Particles for some of the liquid simulations. Everything was rendered through Redshift.
