To create a fake out of home (FOOH) CGI animation to build up anticipation ahead of their league final.
Working with the brilliant team at Stripe PR, we developed this scroll-stopping FOOH.
Using a Bath Rugby branded skull cap and rugby ball, we were able to reimagine three of London’s biggest landmarks, to highlight the fact that the final was being held in London.
St Pauls Cathedral dons the skull cap, the London Eye’s famous pods are replaced with rugby balls, and Battersea Power Station becomes the perfect set of goalposts.
The video was launched on their Instagram the day before the final and achieved 440k organic views and 9k likes in 24 hours.
Modelling and 3D animation was completed in Cinema 4D, with rendering handled in Redshift.
